Legal Experience:

• Joined The Law Office of Robert D. Massey & Associates in 2020.

• Handles a wide range of civil and criminal cases, including speeding tickets, evictions, first-degree murder, and complex divorces.

• Experienced in jury trials and appeals, practicing primarily in southern Middle Tennessee state courts.

Previous Career:

• Former high school chemistry and physics teacher and baseball coach in Giles, Lincoln, and Franklin Counties, earning the nickname “Coach Laxson.”

• Worked with General Robert J. Carter in the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office before joining the firm.

Education:

• Graduate of the Nashville School of Law.

• Member of the honorable society of Cooper’s Inn for superior academic performance.

• Selected for the Tennessee Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division Diversity Leadership Institute during law school.
